what does the title/subtext of this blog mean? it's really interesting!
well the title is ‘life is like a wineglass’ in latin, which is my favorite language, and it’s the title of a song by my favorite band, la dispute. the subtext is comprised of my favorite section of lyrics from the song ’the surgeon and the scientist’by la dispute.
in the beginning it had been placed there simply because i thought it all sounded nice, but it’s come to mean a lot more to me now personally.
it means whatever you want it to mean.
life is like a wineglass to me in the way that it’s fragile and can be greatly broken very easily, but is also beautiful and holds something beautiful in it.
i don’t drink wine or anything and haven’t had any alcohol so i don’t know it personally, but i think it’d be the loveliest of all alcoholic beverages.
